Introduction

Chlorine Dioxide is a compound of oxygen and chlorine, which has already recognized by all international organizations such as WHO, EPA, FDA, JECFA, USD, HACCP and KFDA and is a fully functional disinfectant for medical and food additives.

However, Chlorine Dioxide is not a chlorine-based disinfectant, but an oxygen-based disinfectant that functions with powerful disinfecting power of oxygen. In other words, it has been used worldwide as a disinfectant for drinking water for the past 100 years in 1988 ClOwas registered by EPA as a gas sterilant.

VIRUSZERO (ClO2-6000 PPM) is a powerful Disinfectant, Sterilizer and Deodorizer that is effective against all types of viruses or viral diseases (like Corona, Omicron, Delta, SARS, MERS, Ebola, Avian influenza, ND, IBD, FMD, LSD, etc.), bacteria and bacterial diseases (E.coli, Bacillus, Salmonella, Mycoplasma, Mastitis etc.), fungi (Candida, Yeast, Mold etc.) and other micro-organisms. VIRUSZERO can be stored up to 18 months (1.5 years) in room temperature and 36 months (3 years) in normal refrigerator due to the use of enriched researched technology (Special Zeolite).

History

  1. Chlorine Dioxide was discovered in 1811 by an English scientist Sir Humphry Davy and has been widely used for bleaching in the paper industry and for treatment of drinking water.
  2. In 1944, ClO2 was first commercially applied as a biocide, taste and odor controlling agent in domestic water at Niagara Falls, New York, USA.
  3. ClO2 was introduced as a drinking water disinfectant on a large scale in 1956.
  4. In 1977, 3000 municipal water systems achieving biological control using ClO2 in USA, UK and Europe.
  5. In 1980’s ClO2 gradually replacing Chlorine in many industries worldwide.
  6. ClO2 is being used for the disinfection of potable water for food processing since 1990.
  7. In 2005 – New generation equipment and control technology introduces ClO2 as a practical alternative to many industrial applications in Korea, Germany and other countries.
  8. At present more than 8000 organizations in USA and 22000 organizations in EU are producing and using ClO2 on spot.
  9. Now Pure Nano ClO2 6000 PPM ( 0.6%) developed by Chemist Dr. Kim Ino in South Korea is storable and transportable to anywhere in the world.

Characteristics of Chlorine Dioxide

  • Excellent effect for sterilization, disinfection and deodorization.
  • An environment friendly and safe material that is decomposed by light and produces almost no by-products.
  • Excellent sterilization power against almost all parts such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, green algae and spores
(very high in preventing and blocking infectious diseases).
  • Removal of harmful substances such as iron, manganese, cyan, and phenol.
  • It can be used in various ways for sterilization of drinking water, food, and equipment (approved for food additives by US FDA and Korean FDA).
  • Unlike chlorine-based disinfectants and ozone, it does not produce carcinogens.
  • The effect of maintaining freshness and extending the preservation period is very high by removing food poisoning bacteria and spoilage bacteria from fish, fruits and vegetables.
  • Maintains sterilization effect in a wide pH range (pH2~pH10)
  • As it does not react with organic matter, it has superior disinfection durability and no resistance compared to chlorine-based.
  • Removal of pesticide residues (removal of pesticide residues on crops)
  • Re-reproduction after disinfection is greatly suppressed.
  • Root removal of odor-causing bacteria

How it works?

Chlorine Dioxide enters into the microbial cell as an oxidizing agent.

Reacts with several cellular constituents by oxidation process.

Breakdown molecular bonds.

As a result, rapid death of microbes.
